THE 4400 SET VISIT

HNR: How would either of you describe the evolution and development of your abilities this season, since coming off the Promycin inhibitor?

Conchita Campbell: For Maya, she’s seeing more things, and she can’t stop writing in her diary. So her mom is getting kinda scared, because it seems like all Maya does nowadays is write in that diary all the time about things she sees.

HNR: Conchita, do people ever make jokes about your abilities, even if they’re aware that you don’t really have any in real life?

Conchita Campbell: Oh yeah. One time my principle from my school said, So, can you tell me if it’s going to be raining on sports day, or is it going to be nice and sunny? So I said, Hmm, let me think, it’s going to be half raining and half sunny. And the funny thing was that on sports day, at the beginning of the day it was raining, and by the afternoon it was actually sunny.

HNR: But you know, Conchita, that’s just an average day here in Vancouver.

Conchita Campbell: Yeah, I know. I’d been watching the weather on the news, so I thought; maybe I’ll fake him out [laughs].

HNR: So if you shoot about five months out of the year, what do you do about schooling?

Conchita Campbell: Well, while I’m on set, I have a tutor. And sometimes I bring my homework to the set.
