megalyn echikunwokeDoing that scene with Conchita was great. She’s a beautiful girl. I think she wants to marry me, so she was all pumped about doing the scene. She’s really honest, like all children are. It was great doing that scene with her, especially with the circumstances that everyone may die, and here you had this little girl breaking your heart.
Patrick Flueger on "The Fifth Page" - Conchita's co-star who plays 'Shawn' On 'The 4400'
And how terrific was Conchita Campbell (Maia) in this episode? What a fantastic young actress, we're lucky to have her. And as you can imagine, her character is incredibly fun to write for. At any given moment, something she says can change the entire course of the show.
Amy Berg on "The Gospel According to Collier" - 4400 producer
Conchita Campbell is always a pleasure to watch as Maia, and the scene with the returnee kids really shows just how superior her acting skills are.
Leah Holmes - SFX Magazine
Dakota Fanning first made the role of Rachel famous in "War of the Worlds," not for how great she acted but for how often and loudly she screamed in terror. Campbell took over and showed she has a nice set of pipes as well. Most known for her role as the creepy psychic girl from USA's "The 4400," there's a bright future for her.
Heather Leszczewicz - OnMilwaukee.com
Also notable is Conchita Campbell, who NAILS Dakota Fanning's irritating high-pitched squeal.
Edward Douglas - Comingsoon.net
The string of a plot has Cindy living next door to Tom Ryan (Craig Bierko), who fills the Tom Cruise slot from War of the Worlds. They meet and separate as alien tripods attack-he hoping to drive to safety with his kids (Beau Mirchoff and the marvelous next-Dakota Fanning, Conchita Campbell), she trying to find the father of the Grudge ghost-child, said father ostensibly having the secret to defeating the aliens. All roads lead to Saw.

There is generally also some clever casting such as the little girl from The 4400 (Conchita Campbell) playing the Dakota Fanning role in the War of the Worlds spoof.
- A Movie Every Day
Conchita Campbell deserves special mention in the Dakota Fanning role.
Rachel Reitsleff - Cinescape
"The cast of mostly unknowns makes the seemingly hokey premise plausible. Conchita Campbell is simultaneously adorable and downright creepy."
By Amy Amatangelo, Boston Herald
"I just cherish every chance that I get to work with Conchita because she's such a great little kid. She's so bright and so full of life and such a positive force. I'm really lucky to have her in my storyline and that I'm in her storyline."
By Jacqueline McKenzie, Conchita's on-screen mother in 'The 4400'
"And I love Conchita Campbell so much. She's a ballsy little chick, I tell you. She's a wonderful little girl. She's got a great spirit and she's very respectful with the crew, and she get's on famously with them all and knows them all by name. So she's just a dear, dear little human being and I am so fortunate to have her in all my scenes. And besides the fact that she's a great kid she's also a really good actress. We have a great time together"
By Jacqueline McKenzie, Conchita's on-screen mother in 'The 4400'
"The other acting standouts include the young Conchita Campbell, who plays 8-year old Maia ..."
By Hock Guan Teh - dvd town.com
"I LOVE playing a mother on the show. It gives me a chance to work with Conchita. She is a dear, dear girl and we are great pals. Not only that, she is a wonderful actress and so professional in every way. She always knows her lines, she is always prompt, she has a great spirit on set, and she is very appreciative of the crew and people around her. We all love her to bits"
By Jacqueline McKenzie, Conchita's on-screen mother in 'The 4400'
I am loving playing mum to Maia, played by the darling Conchita Cambell. She is such a wonderful friend to have, and I think our off-screen relationship really helps the work. I trust her completely and I know she trusts me. Sometimes I get homesick - as I'm Australian - and I miss my nieces and nephew terribly. I think Conchita feels this and has taken me under her wing! I am very lucky
